It is with the greatest enthusiasm that I write this letter of recommendation for Cherie Welsh, realtor at Realty Center GMAC. Having purchased and sold several homes in three states, I have experienced various levels of quality, motivation and abilities in the realtors with which I have contracted. Cherie Welsh not only far exceeded my expectations. She blew the standard right out of the roof! Although Cherie is an award winning real estate leader in this area, she made me feel like I was her only customer. Phone calls and activity reports were consistent and qualified buyers were viewing my home continually.
During the two years prior to meeting Cherie, I had first tried to sell by owner, and then contracted with a personal (realtor) friend. I had heard remarkable things about Cherie Welsh, but felt obligated to my friend. I soon learned that friendship should not be considered in business unless your friend is ultimately the best person for the job. After the second year ended with my beautiful waterfront home still unsold, I finally listed it with Cherie Welsh. Although I signed the contract in March, I would not allow the house to be shown until I returned from a trip on April 1. Cherie listed my home at a price $14,000 higher than my last listing and sold it. We closed on May 27th. I might mention that we had made no improvements or changes to the home or property.
Cherie’s work ethic is unsurpassed by any of the many realtors that I have worked with in Florida, Tennessee and in New Your State. After working with Cherie I am convinced that she should have a list of acronyms after her name to indicate the many levels of services she provides.

Hi, we are all doing well and enjoying the Stonewood home. It’s still too soon for it to feel like home but time and adventure will fix that. We did have one unexpected adventure this week. There was a massive leak in the water meter box enclosed in the front lawn. We had to turn the water off, and stay overnight in a hotel since I could not get a plumber to fix it until the next day. That was fun!
